It looks like someone from the Starlight Motel Marketing Department has been moonlighting for the Park. This postcard has a weird first-person vibe that is, quite frankly, rather unsettling.

We know the Park Motel has a swimming pool, and that the swimming pool has a diving board, because we are standing on it! We also know that the Park Motel has a view of power lines and rooftops, and a selection of cheap lawn chairs and loungers in the pool area. We know from the sign that the Park Motel apparently has a Park Motel Annex as well.

What we don't know is if the Park Motel has a Motel, because we can't see it. For all we know, the Park Motel consists of this swimming pool and half a dozen old house trailers parked behind a dilapidated coffee shop.

The back of the postcard boasts that the pool is a heated swimming pool. Those of you who have been to West Texas/Eastern New Mexico in July, at the height of swimming pool season, know that every pool is a heated pool.
