This card post card supports the theory laid out in the Southern Pacific collection: no matter what people are doing, if a train comes past, the people will stop and watch. Look at those cowboys: 5,000 head of cattle to drive in and they still park their ponies so they can watch the Denver Zephyr slip past. And they just might would rather be on it:
The Denver Zephyr between Chicago, Denver and Colorado Springs features Vista-Domes, luxurious chair coaches, Slumbercoaches, the Chuck Wagon (mid-train buffet-lounge car), dining car, all-room sleeping cars, and a parlor-observation-lounge car with the smart Colorado room. It is one of America's finest trains.
I'll bet the mid-train Chuck Wagon beats the hell out of the chuck wagon the cowpokes will be dining from tonight.
"One of America's finest trains"? Indeed.
